1.   This echo is for the debate, and gathering of information
concerning abortion or adoption.
2.   I will do most of my moderating either my net mail, e-mail,
or by posting in this echo, which ever I feel is best for each
particular situation,
Disputing my rules, their interpretation, my moderating style,
or anything else about the business of moderation MUST be done
netmail or e-mail.  No exceptions will be tolerated. Those
who ignore my warnings on this subject will be cut off.
3.   Any one on this echo who makes ANY threats against another
participant of this echo will be cut off with out warning.
This includes but not limited to, threats against person,
body, family, and of any legal action.  NO exceptions will
be tolerated.
4.   Attack your opponents arguments, not your opponent. Any
time you describe another person in derogatory or abusive
terms you are not contributing to the atmosphere of
constructive discussion..
5.   Profanity will be treated in the same way flames are.
6.   When statistical claims are being made please provide
your source.
7.   This echo has a topic, but by its nature it brings in
a variety of side issues, mostly religious.
This is a double edged sword.  I will rule off topicness
with a very light hand, but with this rule of thumb:
It is OK to talk about peripheral topics as long as
it doesn't take up a life of it's own.
8.   This a real name only conference. Signing your real
name at the end of your message, will satisfy this
requirement.
9.   Members of this echo who have suggestions for changes
or additions to this set of rules are encouraged to send
them by e-mail.
The Moderator reserves the right to ban anyone from this
echo, for any reason he feels it is necessary, and
to make rule changes at any time, he feels like it is
in the best interest of the conference.
