Rules for FidoNet's STOCK_MARKET Echo

The following are the rules for the STOCK_MARKET FidoNet echo conference.
Copies of these RULES can be FREQ'd from 1:2404/201 with the MAGIC NAME
OF STOCK!
Your use of this echo is by implied consent, i.e. you are implying that you
consent to obey the rules by your use of this echo. If you use this echo and
either violate the echo rules or choose to confront either another user or
the moderator, then expect a stern warning or possible loss of access.
These rules will be subject to change if a change seems needed. Enforcement
of the rules will be handled both in the echo and/or via NETMAIL.
The purpose of this echo is to enable investors to communicate with
each other about investing in securities that trade on a Stock Market
or investment related subjects. This echo is for entertainment only.
No credence should be made in regard to ANY post in this echo. All messages
are purely for hypothetical discussion and should not be taken seriously. 
Nothing should be construed as endorsement or advice on any investment  issue.
Please check with your licensed financial advisor and your tax consultant
before proceeding on any of the ideas you may glean from posts in this echo.
Posts made by individual participants do not have to contain a disclaimer.
This disclaimer, as part of the echo rules, shall be posted weekly and is

Rule #1:
No flaming is allowed. Please debate issues only and not the person.
Rule #2:
Messages promoting multi-level marketing, pyramid offers, chain
letters, and advertisements of products or fee based services are
not allowed. Solitation of investors is not permitted.
Rule #3:
Have fun in the echo. Chatting is allowed so long as it does not
get out of hand.
Rule #4:
If a person wishes to provide readers with a free sample of their
services or products, they must get the advance approval of the moderator
by sending full details and a sample via netmail or email. If the item
offered has real value to the reader and is not just a bunch of "sales"
information or hype, the poster will be permitted to post such offers in
this message base once a month.  The poster must provide an address
(netmail, email or physical address) and/or phone number for readers to
use to reply to such messages. Replies for such items or services are not
permitted in this message base. If the above procedure is followed and if
permission is granted, such offers will not be considered advertisements
as outlined in Rule #2 above.
Rule #5:
This conference MAY NOT be ported to any commercial echomail system,
including but not limited to CompuServe, GEnie, Prodigy or to any other
network's mail system without the written permission of the Moderator.
