VCMPT034.ZIP 15 Kb. Martin Kiewitz's vCompat v0.34b. Written and (c)
by Martin Kiewitz. Dedicated to Gerd Kiewitz.
OS/2 / eComStation's VDM is nearly perfectly
emulating a real DOS session. Did I say nearly?
Yes, I did. Some programs are too restrictive in
their use of DOS APIs. And some MDOS-APIs do not
behave 100% like in real DOS. Additionally some
programs contain library bugs, so they won't run
on faster machines even under real DOS (like
e.g. Turbo Pascal CRT Unit bug). That's why I
did this compatibility VDD. It hooks itself into
the middle of several APIs and it contains a
magical VM patcher, that is able to patch out
some buggy routines on-the-fly, which means the
user won't even notice that he got a broken
program.

TOP211.ZIP 44 Kb. TOP V2.11 by Paul Ratcliffe
OS/2 VIO application to monitor CPU usage by
process. It does NOT impose an artificial
load on the system to generate usage
statistics. The process list can be sorted
according to various criteria (including CPU
percentage, name, threads), and any process
from the list can be selected to be killed.
LCSS_007.ZIP 18 Kb. LCSS (Logical CONFIG.SYS sort) was written to
address the shortcomings (IMO), of the cfgsort
that is used with eCS 1.2 (and later, I would
presume). It sorts CONFIG.SYS, into more logical
sections, which I find much easier to find things
in. WARNING: This is still a beta program. Be
sure to READ the README. There are changes in
the way that it operates.
