  Yeah you forgot electric bill to run the pc <90watts> 24/7...  I
noted the drop in the bill when I closed my BBS last year, after
the pc died of old age... :)

  Hmmm...sort of like sometimes wandering through to see who's on...I
would like it all located at home..like the radio bbs.

  WOW you are an early user of I-link.   I only got into it due to
a ham in Brampton Ontario making up the link boards, and we got
to try one out...it was neat to have people from all over come
via the repeater...just a load of fun...

  I had Spitfire 3.0 to 3.6   had Wildcat ver410 t0 420, there were
some nice features to each.    Some others I tried were always missing
things and needed this and that module...so we stuck with Wildcat 420
for a few years ...ending in the pc death in 2005 and of course the BBS.

   Thanks Tony ...going to see if I can find the most up to date 
version and give it a try...
