You're absolutely sure that Synchronet (SBBSEcho) and Argus knowns the same
paths as inbound and outbound?

Okay that rules out my prevouis question I guess..

Synchronet should not be the problem is Argus is trying to poll out .. Could
you paste a log from both client and server?

Have you tested with BinkD or Internet Rex? 

BinkD is properly the most easy one,

Not sure but I guess you only need the .exe file and config file..
