Well, my stories are much more tame than that. I try never to involve
myself into other people's marriages/relationships - simply because I
*don't* know what kind of deals got worked out between the partners,
and I know plenty of people who are poly, having tested those waters
ain a previous life.

I met my second husband at a convention. Lasted all of 9 years, during
which I disovered I wasn't wired right to be poly.  I don't like
sharing.

I've heard about those "what happens on the road is ok" deals from
plenty of touring musicians (as well as other people who travel a
lot). And unless I hear it out of the mouth of the *wife* I don't
really believe it. Guys will say pretty much anything they need to to
score when they're at a gig. I've also spoken to their other halfs (on
other occasions), and *they* don't remember agreeing to such terms.
It's an easy way to get into people's pants with the minimum of guilt.
I was that naive once. A very long time ago.
