Yes, I can stand singing that one.  That one, and the recitative that=20
precedes the Buttercup aria.  But if I never again have to sit on stage a=
nd=20
make cow-eyes at yet another Captain Corcoran as his sings to the "fair=20
moon," it'll be fine with me.

"Refrain, audacious tar" is one of few G&S numbers that makes me sorry I'=
m=20
not a soprano.
