Y'oughta visit the thread called The Bitterness Fiesta on
televisionwithoutpity.com's "Lost" section. It's one of my very favorite
snarky places to hang out. There's plenty of Lost bitterness going on there!

I wouldn't have minded the Paolo and Nikki story so much if we hadn't been
waiting so long for answers to other, long-established (and apparently
long-forgotten) mysteries already. And if I hadn't already been hugely
bitter from the episode a few weeks' previous, all about the riveting subject
of...JACK'S TATTOOS!!!! Augh. Kill me now!

Oh, I have to disagree. In general, I think that Sun and Jin's flashbacks
have been among the most watchable, and actually seem to add to what we know
about the characters. As for Hurley, he was a much better character when his
arc was something other than "Hurley is fat." Which seems to be all they can
write for him, now. First season Hurley was just another character, and his
physicality wasn't a major character trait. Now we have him hoarding food,
and feeling guilty because he broke the porch in his flashback and
hurt/killed friends, etc. etc. On The Bitterness Fiesta, they like to talk
about the things we know that TPTB keep drumming into us, like "Jack likes to
fix people," "Kate runs," "Sawyer cons," "Hurley is fat," and "They all have
daddy issues." It's quite the hilarious place.

Lost has become a real disappointment to me, and after such great promise in
the first season! A real shame.

Amy
