        I remember the name well, although I didn't realize until now
that the two were actually one in the same.

        Well, that's you. However, are you prepared to speak for
everyone who's ever stopped by and joined this newsgroup even if just
for a little while?

Look, the simple fact is that your experiences are yours, and mine

        I used to frequent this particular group going all the way
back to when B5 was on the air in first-run. Are you prepared to speak
about how it's been run by the people in charge since then? Or is it
just that because you've never had any outstanding disagreements or
bad experiences with any of the mods that it must therefore mean that
_no one_ has ever?

        Such as where, if I might ask? I'm insulting people, but I'm
not being insulted supposedly. I'm twisting arguments supposedly, but
no one has been twisting my words to make it seem as though I'm saying
things I've never actually said.

You know what, "Bill" ...if I can call you Bill, that is --Give me a
break.

You make me laugh. What we have here is a lynch mob at work, and
you've decided to join in. And for all I know you're that Matt "Ion"
fella under a different name. Not saying you are mind you, but nothing
would surprise me either.

        My "apparent lack of technical knowledge"? Gee, where would
that be? For the most part I've spoken about these matters in only
general terms. I don't claim to be an expert, but I've been on the
Internet and using computers for almost a decade and a half. I
troubleshoot computer problems on my job, at home, and have had my
hands inside computers enough to know how to work with them. So I do
not accept your interpretation as to what I do or do not know, thank-
you-very-much.

        And that, sir, is also your own opinion. What I do have is a
gripe, regardless of how you would like to classify it, and the two
are not one in the same.
