Perhaps there's something in the contracts giving Warner Brothers and by
extension JMS rights to use or not use, as he sees fit, anything from
the new novels?  That'd give JMS creative freedom and immunity from
being sued for use of any ideas they come up with.

You make a lot of good points.  What's the phrase? "Don't honk off the
writer?"  Still, CC and Mongoose aren't the only ones being stupid here.
As Warner Brothers to that list for *allowing* it to happen.
