I think the plan is to leave it up for about 90 days.

The glitch, of course, is that the quotes, like the scripts, are the
property of the author, so they really can't be used in that way by
others.

That being said...the folks there have been asking me about doing
something along those lines...putting out the Declaration of
Principles, some Londo and Ivanova quotes on various and sundry thinggs
(posters, mugs, t-shirts, that sort of thing) and I'm giving it some
thought. If there's enough interest in it, I might go ahead and tell
them to do a few things here and there. (I'm just amused by the idea
of a mug emblazoned with "But in Purple I'm Stunning")

One sidelight...we just put the next volume to bed, and it's 465 pages
in length, 11 pages longer than volume 1. Three could potentially hit
470 to 475 pages. (No change in price, however.)

I have got to learn to write fewer words.

For B5 folks down south -- as in way, WAY down south -- pending work
commitments, I'll be appearing at the Armageddon Pulp Culture Expo in
Auckland next year, from October 22-24th 2006. (Also appearing at the
con: Gates McFadden, John Rhys Davies, and a bunch of other folk.)
This will be my first trip to New Zealand, and I'm looking forward to
seeing the place.

Yep, it'll all be there.

The last I heard, all but about 200 copies had been shipped from the
orders placed as of yesterday, so they're really moving fast to catch
up.

If somebody comes along and options them, I'd love to see them done.

Yes, this is going ahead. I've been quietly working with WB on this
for a while now, both for the AOL material and the wireless phone
component...editing down various parts into differenty-sized bites for
when you're standing around in line at the bank. So there's "make me
laugh" and "thrill me" segments (the elevator scene in "Convictions"
being one, and a big Narn/Shadow fight for the latter) of 3-4 minutes,
"Tell me a story" which is 12 minutes long on average, being an a- or
b-story pulled out on its own, and of course "show me an episode."

This combined approach will help to put B5 out there in front of a huge
audience of both regular viewers, computer folks, and people just
curious to sample the show in brief bites.

I'd been warned this might come along...it's somebody's idea of a joke.
Nothing here is accurate. There is no such project.
