well, some folk like digging about on ftp servers looking at files wondering
what they do and if hey'll do something they want while others know what they
want and use a filerequest system to automatically get it for them without all
the hassel of the internet... one dedicated pipeline up to 56kbps is a whole
lot faster in most cases anyway ;)

ok, so don't use it! it is that simple, really... i'd be willing to be there's
stuff on most all minumal *nix systems that no one uses and wouldn't want if
they knew it was there... one of the first, due to the recent timezone changes
here in the us, is all the timezone zone files and the compiler stuff that goes
with them... if you use dynamic libraries and links to libc, then you "need"
them so you can recompile the one or two dlls that carry that code in the
dynamic calls... if you run mostly static compiles, then you are wasting space
(ie: bloat) with all the code duplication in each package... so, you're not
going to get away from bloat anyhow...

yeah, just like i keep telling my boys, sure, you're different... just like all
the other baggy britches wearing gansta wannabes... i run guis on most
everything here but i spend 99% of my time in one or more textmode shells... it
isn't a big deal...

hehehe, i hear that all the time but the biggest laugh is that most don't have
a clue what they want... i hear things like "i want a search on my webpage"...
"ok, what are you going to search?"... "ummm, my webpage"... "ok... do you
really need a search to hunt thru 500 words that you have on that page?"
