It doesn't look all that OS/2-ish anymore from what I saw.  Reminds me more of
OS-X than OS/2 to be honest although I still think OS-X is way ahead of the
game in comparison.

I believe I has already committed to Linux around that time or roughly around
then.  I did have a copy of Warp 4, maybe even still do somewhere, but Linux
won out.  Almost went with FreeBSD and that probably would have been my choice
over Warp 4 as it didn't require a gui either despite that being a viable
option (XFree86).  Given that XFree86 is at the heart of ECS (ecomstation), or
at least the latest beta version, I'd have to conclude they are still behind
the times given where everyone else is at this point in time.  No?

I shelter myself from the lemmings you speak so highly about.  I've never been
much of a follower unless it is something I actually want and can do something
about.

That is their problem.  I don't mind.  Do you?

The apple camp appears to be further along albiet not in numbers.

Not too many of those around here to make a group.  A few but not many.

So I hear.  None of those around here that I am currently aware of but a decade
ago there was a few that I knew about or actually knew.  Beats me what they are
up to now.  Everyone other than my neighbour is still stuck in the MS camp
trying to hold onto what they currently are running, and that now includes the
XP people.  Same old story every time MS decides to abandon their previous
stuff.  It never fails.
