Like I said this whole group is pretty slow on the uptake so it really takes a

You can get great education in public school...but it takes effort on the 
parents part as well. I worked graveyard shift all those years so I could 
volunteer in Amanda's classes as she was growing up...I knew the teachers 
and which ones were good and which ones to avoid. I found out about the 
good programs and we switched schools so she could take advantage of 
them. In High School she was in the International Baccalaureate program 
which is very very VERY demanding and the graduates from it are highly 
recruited by the best colleges. So it's there, but you have to put in the
effort 
to get  the best out of public school.

-> thru it.  Afterward, we asked---now I can sit and work at a counter top
-> with much less stress on the foot.
