No, and I got some funny looks as I drained the red chile
container into my own bowl.

With a spoon, of course.

There are many cheaper buffets in this world, but, as the
food at this one was quite good, the value was notable. Of
course, one was encouraged to buy a few $4 beers to go with
said food, so the price to performance ratio, originally
excellent, easily slipped a few notches.

 ML> repeaters, lured by the best booze bargain in town. One
 ML> couple, however, looked aghast that they were expected to
 ML> shell out five whole smackers and left in a huff even as
 ML> I was remarking to them that it was a good deal.

 GJ> even I would be prepared to pay $5 for 11 tastes - say, 1/2 a bottle

Noo Yoakiz, by the looks of 'em.

An interesting wrinkle and not a bad idea at all.

US Airways Funnies

There's this new feature on the airplane - they don't have
movies or music any more, so they use the screens to show
advertisements and fill up the time with these brain teasers
for preadolescents called "Cranium." One of the current ones:

  Lady Godiva rode naked on a horse through the streets of
  Coventry, England to promote her new line of chocolates.
  True or false?

Chocolate chip cookie dough martini
cat: booze
servings: 1

1 part Godiva dark chocolate liqueur
3 parts Van Gogh Dutch chocolate vodka
1 part Just Desserts chocolate chip cookie liqueur

Shake on ice. Serve in chocolate-drizzled martini glass.
Garnish - chocolate shavings
