How's the foot feeling?

I do all sorts of little things to make dinner making quicker and easier. I pre

cut my lettuces and mix them together ( iceberg, romaine, and butter 
lettuce) in a gallon ziploc bag so all we have to do is measure out the right 
amount add cherry tomatoes, and pre sliced cukes and the salad is ready!

-> -> But, she's probably better at something different.  I know the
-> -> difference between a sharp and a dull knife; that's why I usually keep
-> -> mine as sharp as I can and get frustrated working with my mom's, or

-> The majority of my family has no idea what a sharp knife is and how to

Most of our parents just ate what they grew up eating and didn't "explore" 
much beyond that. Sad really, as they are missing so much interesting stuff!

-> -> We had steak tonight; it was the menu for a banquet at church.  Steve

-> Strange, how some of the most mundane foods can taste so good at the

Well we didn't pack a lunch with us and we stayed out looking for that owl a 
lot longer than I had really planned to....so by the time we got back to the 
car we were both quite hungry and since we had scuppers with us and a 
bunch of my photo gear in the van as well we didn't want to go to a "sit 
down" place to eat...the subway was the first suitable place we passed on 
the way home! (grin) To be honest though I don't think either of us had had 
a tuna sandwich for at least a year or more, so it did taste quite good at the 
time! 

-> -> BTW, I had my pre-op work done today and all went well.  The 
paperwork
-> -> be approved. Big day is Tuesday, morning time here do I may not be on
-> -> Fido unti Thursday or so.

-> Thanks; by this time tomorrow, barring problems, I should be getting
-> ready to go home soon.  How fast I'll go back to the computer is yet to
-> be determined.  If I"m on crutches, Steve will have to clear more of a

Right now, it's 11:46 am you're time as I type this so I hope things are going 
well and you'll be home and happy in a few hours!
