You know, that actually looks quite good.  I don't consider it an "insult".  A
little something about myself: my dad for many years fought the VA for them to
admit that they knew what was wrong with his back (he has several things wrong
with it and never should have worked).  We moved from place to place, trying to
get a VA doctor to actually admit what was wrong.  See, each VA is
independantly operated, meaning the care you'll get at one hospital isn't the
same as at another one.

We were very poor then.  My dad was making less than $4000 a year and we had
lived with friends and in small, tiny places (we even homesteaded for a while,
living in an Army GP medium tent!).  During that time, my mom taught us kids
(there were five of us then) how to make do with whatever we could scrape up. 
I learned the fine art of "throwing things together".  We subsisted on a lot of
beans and rice.  When we did get meat, it was pretty special.

I am a very fond fan of "shipwreck" meals, which is something you've done here.
 I have a huge fondness for rice with cream of mushroom soup gravy with browned
ground beef tossed in as well as mixed veggies (from a freezer bag) tossed in
and all mixed up.  Yum.

Sounds like what I make..a little different though.

That sounds like a good way to eat it.  I also like SOS (if you were in the
military, you know what I mean :) and that sounds like it a bit.

P.S. Thanks to Jim, I have tons of recipes in my MM install, but my two
computers are refusing to see each other on my LAN, so I can't get a good
recipe for this message...
