Exactly.  I am amazed at what people slop on their burgers (especially 
what I see and make at work).  I order my burgers "bottom buns" (to 
avoid the sesame seeds that when caught in my bad teeth hurt) and they 
taste great.

Maura loves pickles and tomatoes, but she doesn't go overboard.  She 
dislikes a lot of condiments and asks for light condiments when she 
feels like them.  Mayo, however, is out, absolutely.  So is tarter 
sauce.  Tarter sauce I cannot stand, period.  She does, however, like to 
eat her seafood (there is a Long John Silver's near our house and on our 
very tight budget, LJS is a cheap and close treat) with malt vinegar, 
which I absolutely detest.  Malt vinegar smells like stinky feet to me!

You know, grilled burgers, fresh off the grill, are great when eaten 
with a fork.  I eat pizza with a fork when I can too (I know, weirdness 
showing).

I was informed that one of my favorite eateries of all time, the 
Kennesaw Diner in Kennesaw, GA, was closed unexpectedly.  It made me a 
bit sad, as their food was absolutely delicious.

We have a Ryan's here in town.  I'm sorry that yours was nasty; ours is 
consistently good.  It's much tastier than that Golden Corral that we 
get forced to go to when we join my family on Thanksgiving.  (Side note: 
this year, we're making our own Thanksgiving dinner.)

My parents and grandparents go out a lot to eat-however, it's because my 
grandparents want to go out and with both of them being over 80, they 
prefer not to drive a lot.  So my parents take them and get a free meal.  
I can't blame them. <G>  But they like going to that nasty Golden 
Corral.  Eww.

I gently tease my parents about their being eligible for "senior 
discounts" now (Mom is 57, Dad is 59).  But what gets me is that I am 
now a little older than they were when they met ("Dad" is my stepfather; 
I don't acknowledge the existance of my birth father).  Oh well, I'm 
getting old.  That's why I married someone who is ten years younger than 
me, I guess, so I could feel younger! :)

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Ranch Fajitas
 Categories: Poultry, Meats, Main dish, Low-cal, Tortillas
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      1 lb Chicken or steak
      1 c  Red & green pepper strips
      1 pk Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
           -mix, dry
      2 tb Water
           Flour tortillas
 
  Cut chicken or steak into 2" by 1/4" strips.  Brown meat in non-stick
  skillet 3-5 minutes.
  
  Stir in peppers.  Add dressing mix and water.  Cook 1 minute and
  serve in warm tortillas.
