As this particular airline has gone from the deepest bankruptcy
to the highest profit rate, you might expect that some corners
are being cut. In this case, the deicing was probably done to
the minimum Federal specifications. When United deices, there's
pink junk dripping from the entire aircraft by the time the
procedure is done.

Atherosclerotic plaque, which I maintain would have happened
anyway, the episode in question taking place during a misguided
period of relative abstinence from animal flesh.

Talking with family members, it appears that these are not
freak malfunctions but are common to a particular model type.

It's amazing: my friends all google their eyes at me -
"you won't set foot in the People's Republic?" This is true
of the left wing fringe and the right wing fringe alike.

Navajo fry bread
cat: American Indian, fried, bread
yield: 3

2 c flour
1/2 c nonfat dry milk
2 ts double-acting baking powder
1/2 ts salt
2 Tb lard cut in 1/2" bits
1/2 c ice water
1 lb rendered lard for frying

Sift together first 4 ingredients. Mix in lard with your fingers.
Pour in the water and toss ingredients together until the dough
can form a ball. Let rest covered at room temp for 2 hr.

Cut dough into thirds. Roll each piece into a round about 8" in
diameter. With a sharp knife (boning or paring) cut two 4" long
parallel slits 1" apart completely through the bread like so:
