It has been more than several years since I had lambrusco but I don't 
remember it as particularly "sweet" sort of like a "softer" chianti perhaps. It
is 
highly likely that my tastes have changed because I seldom enjoy the 
sweeter wines. Now I'll have to look for a bottle to see what I think of it
now!
