Don't say that to a Maryland crabber....they get very testy about such

In order to get the size they need, they have to go

And I'm sure, the catch.  Crab prices vary wildly from year to year,
depending on the scarcity, size and sex.  I'm not one who orders them, as
I don't like picking crabs, but when I lived closer to the water, you'd see
signs up from folks selling them by the bushel.  Over the years, prices
varied from around $30 to about $120, depending on the season.

Or at Bottom of the Bay in Laurel, which Michael and I tried and liked.  If
they're reopened from the fire.  I just checked their website, and they
give no indication that they are closed, and in fact, their coupons give a
May 31 expiry date, which tells me they're up and running.  In fact, one of
their current coupons is for AYCE crabs, French fries and hushpuppies and

But to get to Harris you have to cross the Bay Bridge on Rt. 50, and it's
Rt. 50 that backs up.  If folks want to go to Annapolis, there are many
ways to get there other than Rt.50.  

The one thing about going to some of the seafood places on the Eastern
Shore (I'm not advocating it, but I think this is cool) is the freshness of
the seafood. With flash freezing now, it's not as important, but I was at a
waterfront restaurant over there once and asked if they had something, I
don't even remember what it was, and the waitress pointed to a boat that
was docking and said "See that boat out there?  If it's on that boat, we
have it."  :
