That would be donairs or souvalaki.  There are tons of donair shops in Halifax.
There is only one store in Victoria which emulates the Donair shops in Halifax
Tony's Donair is on the top of the list in June

That would be tzatziki sauce Some places also use sweet sauce

 I took the  45 minute to Dubai and shopped at the gold souk.  Jebel ali sucks
 otherwise as you are miles away from anything

I only wish I could see Phantom or Rent live.  I miss NYC because my ship broke
down and we had to return to HFX

      Title: Mulled Spiced Red Wine
 Categories: beverages
      Yield: 10 servings

     12    dried figs 
     3   sm oranges
      1    lemon; thinly sliced
    3/4 c  raisins
     3      cinnamon sticks
     12 ea whole cloves 
     12 ea allspice berries
    3/4 c  granulated sugar
     3      bottles dry red wine
  1-1/2 c  brandy

----------------------------------GARNISH-----------------------------------
     10    long cinnamon sticks
     10    clove-studded orange wedges 
           -or slices

Ladle this aromatic blend into pretty, heatproof glass mugs and add a
cinnamon stick stirrer. In large non-aluminium pan, combine figs, oranges,
lemon, raisins, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, sugar and wine; bring to
simmer, stirring to dissolve sugar. Bring just to boil; reduce heat to low
and simmer for 25 minutes. Strain, reserving figs and raisins for another
use. Return to pan and add brandy; gently heat through, about 10 minutes.
Garnish: Ladle beverage into heatproof glass mugs; garnish each with
cinnamon stick and orange wedge. Makes 10 cups (2.5 L).
