The new places have 2 thermostats; one downstairs on the wall by the
utility room and one upstairs by the master bedroom.  They work
independantly of each other too.  But, I've been in plenty of military
housing where there's no cool early in the spring nor hot early in the
fall. After a couple of years in AZ, Steve switched the system to heat
or cool as needed rather than waiting for the maintainence folks to do
it.  And, it turns out my Fido was glitchy because Marc's board decided
to act up.  He's got it fixed now so hopefully I won't miss more mail.

But it's usually the humidity that causes the problems more than the
heat.

OTOH, we like it.  Steve used to go for more dark but he's eating white
by choice more often now.  I made (from one of the recipes Dale sent a
few months ago) Orange Cinnamon chicken last night for supper; it's a
keeper but I'll do something other to thicken up the sauce.

 CS> Humm.  Not a sweets person <g>.  I might make 2 pies a year.  One for

I usually only make pies around that time of year but we'd not had
rhubarb pie in years and the fresh was too hard to resist.  Strawberries
were at a good price a few weeks ago in the commissary and have been not
bad since so we've been enjoying them.  Better produce than we saw in
HI.
