  When do you think you will leave home?  And will you be able to read
  the echo while traveling?   If not, I'll have to make sure you know
  about whatever plans are made.

  As of now, we are expecting that Blob's park will be a Friday night
  thing.  They open at 7 pm, with music and dancing starting a bit after
  8 pm.   We'll stay as long as the group wants to stay:-}}

  No decisions have been made on what to do for the people who get here
  on Thursday.   I have some ideas of places we could go for dinner and
  will put them up for discussion soon.   I'll also put up some thoughts
  on group trips during the day on Friday.

  We had talked about that Korean Restaurant next to one of the Korean
  supermarkets.   Gail and I stopped by there this afternoon and looked
  at their menu.   They did not have one I could bring home, nor do they
  have a web site.   My reaction on looking at the menu was that
  it was a bit expensive.  Of course, I don't know what many of the
  items were, but jotted down some notes.   They have a propane fueled
  burner at each table.   They had eight types of Korean BBQ priced at
  $18 to $24.   They had three noodle dishes at about $12.   There were
  four "casserole" dishes at $30 to 35 (I hope that was for two, but
  don't know).  There were seven Japanese dishes for about $15 each and
  a bunch of sushi bar type of stuff for prices from $4 to $10 each.

  To tell the truth, I did not see anything that made me want to
  experiment there at those prices.   I will say that it seems to be a
  popular place and the majority of the clientel is Asian.

  You and Steve may be able to satisfy your want for a visit back to
  Korean food at some hole-in-the wall near Fort Meade or at the lunch
  counter in the Korean Grocery.  If you want me to research near Ft.
  Meade, let me know.

      Title: Hare Chane ke Kabab (Green lentil patties)
 Categories: Indian, Vegetable
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
    1/2 lb Green lentils; picked over
      1 T  Salt
      2 ts Coriander seeds, ground
      1 ts Cumin seeds, ground
      2 oz Green chiles; jalapeno is OK
      2 oz Onions
      1 oz Garlic
    1/4 lb Tofu
      2 T  Ghee
      2 T  Chickpea flour
      1 ts Sugar
    1/2 ts Garam masala
           Ghee for frying
 
  Chop the chiles (use the seeds as well), onions and garlic.
  
  Boil the lentils with salt, coriander, cumin, chiles, onion and
  garlic in two cups of water.  When cooked, drain completely.  Add the
  tofu and grind finely.  Add the remaining ingredients, mix and knead
  well.
  
  Form 12 patties using wet hands.  Fry in a very little ghee on low
  heat until golden brown.
