Yikes, indeed. I paid U$1500 for my tin can - and have lived in it for 
the past 7 years. In that time I have dropped about $2500 into upgrades, 
improvements and repairing (mostly floors) the things wrong with it.

I wonder how hard it is to export older mobile homes to Canada???

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Chocolate Pecan Pie
 Categories: Pies, Chocolate, Pastry, Nuts
      Yield: 6 servings
 
MMMMM--------------------------FILLING-------------------------------
      3    Eggs; lightly beaten
      1 c  Corn syrup (Karo)
    1/2 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Semisweet chocolate chips;
           -melted
      2 tb Butter; melted
      1 ts Vanilla extract
  1 1/2 c  Chopped pecans
      1    Unbaked 9-inch pie shell

MMMMM-----------------------BUTTER PASTRY----------------------------
  2 1/2 c  All-purpose flour
      1 ts Salt (scant)
      1 ts Sugar
      1 c  Cold butter in sm pcs
    1/3 c  To 1/2 c ice water
 
  Chocolate and pecans -- an unbeatable combination.
  
  Put the flour, salt and sugar in a food processor. Pulse a
  few times to mix.
  
  Add the butter pieces to flour mixture, and process about
  10 seconds until mixture is consistency of coarse meal.
  
  With the food processor running, slowly add ice water in a
  thin stream just until the dough holds together. Do not
  process the dough for more than half a minute.
  
  (To hand-mix the dough, mix the flour, salt and sugar in a
  large bowl. Add the butter pieces, and cut in with a pastry
  blender until mixture is consistency of coarse meal. Then
  mix dough, sprinkling ice water until dough holds together.)
  
  Turn dough out and wrap securely in plastic wrap. Refrigerate
  for 1 hour before rolling out. Makes enough pastry for a 9"
  double-crust pie. May be frozen for 3 months.
  
  Preheat oven to 350°F.
  
  In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, corn syrup, sugar,
  chocolate, butter and vanilla, blending well. Stir in the
  pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  
  Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or knife inserted halfway between
  center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
