  Understandd, you are not supposed to pass through the tunnels here
  with propane in your car -- although no one would notice a couple of
  one pound tanks in the trunk.   I'll make sure that we have some of
  the one pound tanks here -- I assume that is what your cooker will
  use.

  It is quite possible that one of our "field" trips will be to one of
  the Korean markets.   They often have pretty good and inexpensive
  fresh produce.  I think that would be a good source for you.

  We'll exchange cell phone info via email, and make sure you are
  informed of the group's Thursday night plans -- whenever they get set.
  According to MS Streets and Trips, Kingston (at the edge of Catskill
  state park) is about 300 miles, 5 hours from either our house or from
  Ft. Meade.

  I hope Steve is going to survive his exposure to massive amounts of
  pork being cooked and served:-}}


MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Basil Pork Chops
 Categories: Diabetic, Meat, Main dish
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      4    Lean center-cut pork chops
           (1 1/4 lbs.)
      1 c  V-8 Juice
      1 ts Dried basil
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Coarsely ground black pepper
 
  Trim and discard excess fat from chops.  In a large frying pan, brown
  chops without added fat.  When chops are browned, add other
  ingredients. Cover tightly and simmer 40 minutes or until tender.
  Turn meat occasionally and add a few tablespoons of water if
  necessary to prevent burning.
  
  1 Serving: 1 Chop Plus 1 Tbsp. Sauce
  
  Nutritive values per serving: 3 gm. carbohydrates; 25 gm. protein; 14
  gm. fat; 240 calories; 0.7 gm. fiber; 521 mg. sodium; 91 mg.
  cholesterol
  
  Food Exchange per serving: 3 Medium-Fat Exchanges + 1 Vegetable
  Exchange.
  
  Low-sodium diets: Omit salt.  Substitute unsalted V-8 Juice.
