Thanks!  I think Kevin must have been losing his touch; otherwise he
would have insisted on making it 6 bottles.  It had to be a minimum of
two, as there were the two different mutations - the bronze and the
white cab savs.

Phew!!  I have 9 days reserved for Texas this time, during which I will
be meeting Nora's new in-laws from Taiwan via New Jersey before going
South of the Border.

I will suggest that, although it was difficult to slice with his blunt
knives, as the skin was thin, but tough.

$0 as against $7.  Also, the better ratio would have been 1 small, D24
durian to about 1 kg of mangosteens - if there had been more
mangosteens, which there weren't.  Only the two donated by the
house-hold god.

I think he does that from time to time, using red wine vinegar, aka
dregs from the bottom of the plastic bottle.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Rice Rotis
 Categories: Indian, Rice, Breads
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      1 c  Left over steamed rice
    1/2 c  Wheat flour
      1 tb Chopped coriander
      1 ts Red chilli powder
    1/4 ts Cumin seeds
    1/4 ts Sesame seeds
      1 tb Oil or butter
           Salt to taste
      1 tb Yoghurt or curds
      1 tb Fresh fenugreek leaves or
           -spinach
      3 ts Oil to shallow fry
 
  If using spinach or other greens chop fine, wash and drain very well
  in colander. Mix all ingredients well except oil to shallow fry. And
  form a dough using moist hands. Do not make it too soft. Divide in
  5-6 round balls. Roll into chappatis of 5" Diameter
  
  Shallow fry on hot griddle. Sprinkling some oil on both sides. Cool on
  rack. Pack if desired with chutney or sauce.
