  BTW -- your first two messages with this subject line never got out of
  DOC's Place.   They got trapped because of a flaw in the way he IDs
  messages.  That method of ID sometimes causes false duplicate hits at
  his uplink and the messages get killed there.

   You don't need to get on the Baltimore beltway to get to any of the
   places on the list.  Timbukto is the same time and distance from you
   as is BWI.  The other two are not much further.

   Haven't decided what time to set for Thursday dinner, but it will
   certainly start before dark.  If you decide not to come, your friends
   will miss you -- but that is your choice.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Oriental Pork
 Categories: Pork, Kaz, Oriental
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
    450 g  Julienned pork fillet
      3 tb Soy sauce
      2 tb Dry sherry
      1    Leek
      1    Carrot
      2 tb Vegetable oil
      1    Root ginger (2.5cm) grated
      1    Green pepper
      1 ts Light brown sugar
    200 ml Water
    175 g  Frozen peas
      3 tb White wine vinegar
      2 ts Cornflour
      1 pn Salt
      1 pn Fresh ground black pepper
 
  A delicious dish packed with oriental flavours, it
  only needs to be served with plain boiled rice or
  noodles. Cook it in a wok for real authenticity.
  
  Preparation: seed and slice the green pepper.
  
  1. put pork in a shallow dish. mix together soy sauce
  and sherry and pour over meat, coating well. leave to
  marinate in fridge for 1 hour. 2. cut leek into thin
  strips and slice carrot.heat oil in a large frying pan
  or wok. Remove meat from marinade with slotted spoon
  and add to pan, reserving marinade. fry meat, stirring
  constantly until browned. 3. remove meat and keep
  warm. Add leek,carrot and ginger and fry, stirring for
  3-4 minutes 4. stir in meat, green pepper, sugar,
  water and marinade and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. stir in peas and heat through. blend vinegar and
  cornflour together, add to pan and cook gently,
  stirring until sauce thickens. Season to taste and
  server.
