I think it ended up a total of 43 days.  Today's business section had an
article on how tourist related industries are beginning to bounce back;
the luau we took Steve's folks to had to be canceled 10 times in
February and March--usually they have 8 cancellations in a year!  One of
those rain outs was the night we wanted to go; we ended up going a few
nights later and had better seats without having to pay for the upgrade.
The food costs must have been staggering tho; the pig takes all day to
cook (plus cooking the other stuff) so they probably had a good bit of
that which was used at the resort restuarants at a cut rate.

No, we'd not started building yet but beginning to think about it.  Our
part of the island didn't have as much water related damage as some
areas (and no sewage spills, did the death of a local guy from
infections related to that hit your news?) of the island had.
