IIRC, a single access is considered a R/W cycle.

It depends on the chip they use; there's two types (and I can't remember the
acronyms).  Unfortunately, 4GB and below use the cheaper chips, IIRC.  Their
"charge" lasts about five years (that's assuming they're used once).

Well, this system that I'm running for the BBS has six USB ports (I believe
USB2).  eComStation does have USB capability in it, but you have to play with
the system a little to get it running and then you have to have the proper
drivers for the USB device you want to use (there's no "general" USB driver).

I use USB so little (maybe once every two to three months) that it's really not
worth it.  Besides, my ultra-wide SCSI tape has a lot faster bandwidth than USB
does for what I need.  To go into it would be overly technical and I've
probably overstepped my boundries with this discussion anyway!

Found a place online that I can get tapes for $2.75 a piece (I have to buy 50
at a time, but comes with a cleaning cartridge for free which is about $6-8 a
piece).  That's a really good price.

      Title: Lunch Pack (Quick Lunch) <t>
 Categories: Easy, Low-fat, Rice, Microwave, Vegan
      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      1 c  Cooked wild rice
      1 c  Cooked basmati rice
      1 cn Sliced water chestnuts
      1    Salad tomato, chopped
           Sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/2 cn Hunts tomato sauce
           Black pepper to taste
           Oregano to taste
 
  Put first four ingredients into plastic container. Then add: sliced
  fresh mushrooms as necessary to fill the container almost to the rim.
  
  Then dump on top (DO NOT MIX. If you mix it, the rice will be too
  soggy come lunch time. Mix before nuking): 1/2 can of Hunts tomato
  sauce black pepper to taste oregano to taste At work, when hunger
  hits, nuke for 3-5 minutes, depending on the microwave you are using.
  I like stuff cooked right, so I use 5 minutes to get the tomatoes
  nice and done.
