(On differences between sesame oils).  Correct, only in Japan markets is it
mixed with regular cooking oils. Every place else, it's among the fancy sauces
or oddly, bakery goods isle (Brisbane had it there, dunno why).  If it's pale
gold and sold in a quart or bigger, it's not the flavor oil, just the regular
cooking version with little to no sesame flavor to it.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Hapu'upu'u and Veggie Stew (Fish Stew)
 Categories: Seafood, Diabetic, Xxcarol
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      2 lb Hapu'upu'u (Sea Bass fillet)
      1 tb Oil
      2 tb Butter
      1 ea Large carrot
      1 ea Large onion
      2 ea Stalks celery
      5    Sprigs parsley
      1 ts Fresh thyme or 1/2 ts dried
    1/4 ts Dried rosemary
      1    Bay leaf
    1/2 ts Pepper
      2 ea Cloves garlic
      2 c  Fish stock or chicken stock
      2 ts Cornstarch
      1 tb Water
      2 ea Juice of lemons
      1 tb Minced parsley
 
  Chop all veggies thin and cut fish to 1 1/2 inch cubes. Heat oil and
  butter in large stick-free pan, adding herbs and spices to top.  cook
  lightly then add stock and bring to a boil.  Add fish to boiling
  liquid and cover. Cook 15 mins on 'simmer'.  Remove fish and strain
  veggies. Serve veggies to side of fish.  Add cornstarch to liquid and
  bring to boil. Let it thicken and pour over fish.  Add lemon juice
  and parsley for looks.

      Title: Mahimahi Mexicali (Fish)
 Categories: Seafood, Diabetic, Low-fat, Xxcarol
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
  1 1/2 lb MahiMahi fillets
      1 tb Light oil (can use 1/2 tb)
      1 ea Clove garlic, minced
      1 sm Onion, chunked
      2 sm Green peppers, seed/chunk
      1 c  Favorite salsa brand
 
  Cut fish to 1 1/2 inch cubes.  Heat oil at medium high in a large
  skillet.
   By using a well cured cast iron skillet, or a good grade of 'stick
  free' pan, you can reduce the oil by 1/2 in this dish.  Use a quality
  'thin' oil such as lite sesame for best effect.  Saute veggies,
  garlic and onion until soft.  Add fish and stir fry until they look
  opaque (about 5 minutes). Add salsa and heat until all the way hot.
  
  Goes really well with hot garlic bread.  For a full meal, add slices
  of fresh cucumber (or a cucumber salad), and a sliced up bosk pear
  with cinnimon sprinkled lightly atop the pear.
