That's when our UPS goes "beep, beep, beep" until the power comes back
on or the computer is shut down.  With the flaky power over here, they
have saved a lot of money.  All of my sewing stuff runs off them too.

Seriously thinking now.  I knwo what Steve would say but............it's
something I've wanteed for years.  Should we go to e-mail?

Same with manual typewriters.  And, that's why we keep a propane camp
stove handy.  It was used a couple of years ago when power went off for
several hours; I was several hours into cooking dinner with under an
hour to go.  Steve pulled out the camp stove, finished dinner and we ate
by the light of candles and lanterns.
