But there apparently was a Thos. Crapper who did run a plumbing
supply store. Some guy wrote a tongue-in-cheek and somewhat inaccurate
bio of him, which was fine, except then he went on to write a totally
fictitious bio of the totally fictitious Titzling person. Which leads
people to discount the former because of the preposterousness of the
latter. I forget the name of this felonious biographer, Wallace Gromit
or something.

Reading your descriptions of these and other picnic delights,
I wonder that we don't look more alike, as in twins separated
at birth.

Smoked oyster and corn casserole
cat: odd, main, side, shellfish
servings: 4

1 egg
1 cn cream-style corn (20 oz (No. 2 can))
1/2 c evaporated milk
1/8 ts salt
2 1/2 ts soy sauce
1 Tb minced onion
1 tin Reese smoked oysters, drained
4 soda crackers, coarsely crushed
- or 6 butter wafers

Beat egg lightly in casserole. Mix in corn, milk,
seasonings. Scatter oysters over. Sprinkle with
crumbs. Bake at 325F for 30-35 min or until set.
