The ice cream was made by Hershey's--there was advertising for them
scattered about the premises.  Had the kid (and his manager) been more
knowledgable about the ingredients, I wouldn't have ordered it.  Steve
asked for a butter pecan and was enjoying it when I made my discovery.
He says that in hindsight, he would have taken my cone and let me get
another if I'd realised before he got his that mine had PB in it.

How do they keep the cotton candy from melting into the ice cream?

Of the 3, that one would be the one I'd go for but hopefully there's
other flavors to choose from. A chocolate ice cream with candy cane
peppermint pieces would be my #1 pick.

And why not?  Steve didn't know about you and Dave S. doing the blue
foods thing; I think he was bemused by it.

Or take the easy way out & go down to your nearest Baskin Robbins or
Friendlys. (G)  We ate at a Friendly's in Gettysburb but didn't get ice
cream--just a couple of sandwiches.  For the most part we avoided chain
eateries on this trip but did visit a Dutch Kitchen, a mall Chinese, a
Cracker Barrel and an Applebee's.  Had the unpleasant reminder that some
places don't ask "smoking or non smoking" at the last one--there was no
real non smoking area.  We'd already ordered & had our drinks so we were
able to change our seats but have to remember that factor in tobacco
country.
