Hopefully all well?  Could be you are just less active (but it might not be
obvious to you until you really think about it).  I lose a little in winter
because it's cool enough to walk to Tonoo Market more often for example.  A 3
mile round trip with many kids in tow takes up a few calories even if we do
tend to stop and nosh along the way.

Let me think.  It's actually more like 4 miles round trip I think on the route
we use with the kids.  We divert over to hit the 2 toy stores and grab a
100yen toy or so per kid <g>.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Fried Green Onions - Sl 5/81
 Categories: Side dish, Onions
      Yield: 10 Servings
 
    3/4 c  All-purpose flour
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Salt
    2/3 c  ;water
      2 tb Sesame seeds
     20 ea Green onions; cut into 5-
           -inch lengths
           Vegetable oil
 
  Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir well.  Gradually add
  water to flour mixture, stirring until smooth.  Stir in sesame seeds.
  
  Dip onion into batter, and fry in deep oil heated to 375F.  Fry until
  golden, turning once.  Drain on paper towels.  Serve warm. Yield: 10
  servings.

      Title: Rhine River Red Cabbage
 Categories: Vegetables, German, Onions
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      2 tb Oil
      1    Red onion
    1/4 c  Cider vinegar
      1 ts Dill seed
      2 tb Brown sugar
           Salt and black pepper
      1    Apple
      1    Carrot
      1    Head red cabbage
 
  Saute onion in hot oil until tender. Add vinegar, dill seed, sugar,
  salt and pepper to taste. Stir well. Add apple, carrot and cabbage.
  Bring liquid to boil. Reduce heat. Cover and cook about 5 minutes
  until cabbage is wilted. Stir often to coat cabbage mixture with
  vinegar mixture. Approximately 5-7 minutes.
