was speaking with a fellow rider on the bus to a Mariner's game a week or so 
ago and he postulated that mankind is the most invasive species of all and 
we have no natural predators...In part I agreed but pointed out that we have 
plenty of predators from microbial size up to 20 foot crocodiles, if we'd but 
stand about and be patient. While I do agree that we are certainly the most 
invasive species and we (to date at least) have done little to 'improve" the 
planet at least we have the capability to do so at some point.

The M's had one ugly game against the Chisox but came away with a series 
win two games out of three...I'd settle for that anytime (grin). The rookie 
thrid baseman for the Chisox was a real pain in th' patoot for us 
though...seems like everytime he touched the ball with a bat it went out of 
the park!

I'm hoping that the Mariners can sneak past the halo's and take the west but 
it will certainly go down to the wire it seems! And people say baseball isn't

I have no real knowledge of why they are blue...could be the diet they are 
fed..also I've been told the blood of lobbies is blue so that could be a reason

as well (though if that were entirely true wouldn't the wild ones be blue as 
well? ) I just know I'd love to have a chance to invite a bunch of em to 
dinner!
