 Well, Mom remembered reading about Kellogg's
 discontinuing tours and giving reasons involving
 trade secrets. And boxed cereal really is a
 technological product, in which the process of
 toasting, puffing, coating and whatnot does play
 an important part in the finished product. Still,
 the health department rules might also have played
 a part...the nanny state is winning!

 Sounds like it's more than what I saw as a kid,
 now. I remember it as a sort of elegant zoo,
 mostly. No rides, which I think it has now. I
 remember the factory tour more than the attraction.

      Title: Chocolate Corn Flake Munchies
 Categories: Candies, Desserts
      Yield: 20 Servings

     12 oz Milk chocolate morsels
      9 oz Smooth peanut butter
      5 c  Corn flakes cereal

  Melt morsels in sauce pan, add peanut butter, when all melted
  together add corn flakes one cup at a time. Stir until all corn
  flakes are covered. Drop spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet;
  refrigerate until hard. Easy fast candy to make.

 DS> 3    Bacon, Strips, Thick Sliced

 DS> Remove outer, wilted cabbage leaves and core.  Place cabbage in a
 DS> large pot of boiling water and simmer gently for 10 minutes.  Remove
 DS> and drain. gently pull off 12 leaves and set aside.  Finely chop the
 DS> rest of the cabbage.  Heat 1 T vegetable oil; add onions, pork, and
 DS> ground beef.  Cook until lightly browned.  Drain off excess fat.
