It should!  She's filtering books just now.  Then kids tapes.  We just
finished the coat closet and found 5 jackets she's outgrown.

Sounds right (father especially).  I havent re-read it in about 4 years. 
It's here someplace.  Lord knows where!  It's not on the shelf I recall it
last from.

Normal for us, but we've come to notice abnormal to most.  BTW, sailors
read more than most folks do.  We don't have the same level of
entertainment at sea as you would at home and curling up with a good book
is very normal.  In my berthing, I had the main bookshelf.  I had about 40
books on the ship and it was a pain packing them in my backpack and taking
the best ones home (the rest I left to the ladies along with the 2 small
bookshelves we have tucked in a corner).

Yeah, but we've dumped quite a portion of the weight now so if they pack
out the rest, it's not a problem.

Yes, I'll filter them down as I can get fresher ones again.  Some of these
are very old but in Sasebo, unless you mail order spices in, you cant get
these.  I'll leave many here with friends.

Yes, we are an interesting mix here!

For today, we have fresh bread from Elise who took the last of my bakery
stuff with her.  I had more in the chest freezer than I had realized.  A
jar of soup arrived this morning.  Dinner is with Fred and his wife, some
sort of pasta thing with ham.  At their place as ours is all tore up. 
Folks are lining up loaner gear to deliver after the packout is complete. 
Sheets and kitchen stuff.
