Oh, thanks last message for the link to the newer TV costs.  We'll look
at them when we get stateside.

On the GF, agreed.  Removable gizzards needed or we'd end up never using
it at all.  I figured that the ones where the cooking part doesnt
remove, would be even less useful than a crockpot without a removable
liner.  Not suitable for my own habits.

Well, for all, the packout was a trip!  2 days to get it all packed and
loaded.  We are living with loaner furniture, and stuff like that.
Borrowed kitchenware from friends.  Payback time <g>.  If Charlotte
doesnt want a TV dinner, she just wanders off and someone feeds her.
Last night, we ate at 'Bob Marley's (not his real name, we just call him
that as he's got a sort of rastafarian doo.  Wife is Navy and he teaches
HS math and chemistry for the 10-12 grade set).  They are
semi-vegetarians and made a wonderful beanpot medly you pour over rice.
The side dish was a simple one I actually made for them.

1 C Enoki muchrooms (can use standard brown button ones USA style)
5/8 C slivered white and red onions
1/2 C bell peppers, we used green and yellow
2 ea small chopped chile peppers, mild, like bannana but these are red
     local type and we like them.  About 1/4 cup?
1/4 stick butter
drizzle olive oil (2 TB?)
1 TB or so crumbled feta

Start with melting butter on a low heat as you chop everything up.  Add
the onions and you chop the bell peppers then add them, then chop the
mushrooms and chiles.  Add them in then drizzle with olive oil and let
it sort of 'get happy' as Emeril says, then add the feta.  We served it
over a goodly batch of steamed kangkoon but this can also be a stand
alone recipe.  Bob and his wife are perfectly happy with a little butter
and cheese.  They also eat shellfish and shrimp and a few other 'simple
animal meats' like that.  They will eat eggs but only if they know the
chickens were really 'free range' (treated well in their life) and
oddly, do not care so much that they be 'unfertile' (you get suprises in
Japan on such occasionally).
