 Well, glad you found a way to appreciate them.
 That's one thing I look forward to around here,
 the FarmersMarket will soon have them fresh
 on the stalk. It doesn't make up for losing
 fresh peaches and sweet corn, but it helps.

 I'm in an 8-apt block, and they are directly
 opposite me in the next block, our back sliding
 doors looking right at each other. Maybe 30 feet
 between the buildings, so we are close! But
 there is a big field open for play just to the
 east of both our buildings, so I suggested they
 play the ball games over there and save the strip
 between the buildings for quieter games.

 Double wow, I'm glad you mentioned that, I had
 never heard of it at all. I am not totally
 strange, then, and if he had the same complex
 of reactions, it must be a specific chemical common
 to both acting as the irritant.

 Huh! I haven't had any problem with bugs at all!
 And mine are all-natural, also. I did have a problem
 last year with a mouse stealing some and leaving
 them half-eaten but he's not around any more. I
 caught him red-handed, too, while I was reading on
 my porch and saw a green tomato rolling along, pushed
 by the mouse trying to get the first bite out of it!
