That sounds like what I'd wish of my brother, sort of.

Hey, what's to say that the next family member in the
Steinbrenner line isn't as horrendous a human being
as the patriarch?

I've consumed Grey Poupon with no ill effects other than a
blow to my taste buds and self-esteem.

Wasn't asking for that solution, though he'd probably welcome that.
Bear in mind that his brand of insanity is less innocuous than ours.

3 c flour
1 ts baking powder
1 c sweet butter, room temp
1 c sugar
1 lg egg, room temp
1 ts vanilla
parchment

Sift flour and baking powder.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add
egg and vanilla and beat until incorporated. Add
flour mixture in two batches. Blend until dough
begins to become firm. Place dough on parchment
and knead by hand for 1 min. Transfer to a plastic
bag and refrigerate 1 hr or more.

Oven at 350F.

Roll dough on parchment to 1/8" thickness. Cut
into circles or desired shapes. Transfer to
greased cookie sheets and bake until golden,
about 8 min.
