Yeah, I know. I had intended to leave a check under my pillow - but, 
couldn't find the damned check book. By the time I did find it - I was 
home. And I life intruded to the point .........

I like most of the Manhattan Clam Chowders I have had just fine - as is. 
The ones I didn't care for had too much tomato in them (and I can hear 
DS preparing to pounce on that straight line as I type it).

      Title: Fromage Blanc With Blackberry Coulis
 Categories: Five, Fruit, Cheese, Dairy
      Yield: 3 servings
 
           Fresh blackberries
           Sugar
           Fromage blanc
           Lightly sweetened heavy
           - cream; softly whipped
 
  Tangy berries, fresh fromage blanc and sweet cream make a memorable
  yet simple summer dessert. From Marlena Spieler.
  
  Puree the blackberries, then strain out the seeds, or just roughly
  mash with a fork and keep the seeds in — your choice as to the
  texture you wish. Sweeten lightly and to taste. For each serving,
  spoon a layer of the berry puree into a goblet, cover with a layer of
  fromage blanc, and serve topped with a spoonful of whipped cream.
