Don's not home from Terlingua yet. I'll inquire as to details later this 
week after he's had a chance to recruit himself.

I do recall that he really did get a pardon from the Governor of Baja 
Oklahoma.

I think he took lessons from his big brother, Les. But, in typical Don 
fashion - once he knows as much as 15% about a subject he is an EXPERT 
and he goes haring off on his own. Once he lost the hundred to me 
betting on whether there are onions in his brother's chilli or not there 
has been no holding him.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Summer Pasta Salad
 Categories: Salads, Pasta, Squash, Cheese
      Yield: 5 servings
 
           Salt
      1 lb Gemelli or fusilli pasta
      3    Zucchini; shredded on large
           - holes of a grater
      2 lg Vine-ripened tomatoes
           -=OR=-
    1/2    Basket or so of flavorful
           - cherry tomatoes
      1 cl Garlic; minced
      3 tb Thin sliced fresh basil
      3 tb Fresh shredded Parmesan
      1 tb White wine vinegar
      3 tb Extra virgin olive oil
           Fresh ground pepper
 
  This should take less than 20 minutes to prepare.
  
  Bring a large pot of water to a boil; season liberally with salt. Add
  the pasta and cook until al dente. While the pasta cooks, put the
  zucchini in a colander and toss with salt. Let sit a few minutes so
  some of the liquid drains off. Toss again and press down to rid of
  liquid.
  
  Cut large tomatoes in half through the equator. Using a paring knife,
  gently remove the seeds and liquid surrounding them. Dice the flesh.
  If using cherry tomatoes, simply cut them in half.
  
  When the pasta is done, drain and rinse until cold, then drain well.
  Place in a large bowl with the zucchini, tomatoes, garlic, basil and
  Parmesan. Toss with vinegar and olive oil. Season with salt and
  pepper. (May be prepared one day in advance and stored in the
  refrigerator. However, you may want to wait to add tomatoes until
  just before serving.)
  
  Serves 4-6
