I don't object to the coking part. What I object to is the unending 
hyperbole and whispered (apparently to build non-existent drama) 
commentary. I don't like in "professional wrestling", Monster Trucks 
(another made-for-TeeVee package), etc.

I have a real problem getting past the balloon juice and bugle oil of 
the self-promotion that is all over the program like a baby's filled 
nappie. So, since there are other, more enjoyable programs available on 
other channels ....

      Title: Kumquat, Lime & Cranberry Sauce
 Categories: Sauces, Fruits, Citrus, Booze
      Yield: 5 servings
 
      2 pk Cranberries (12 oz each)
    1/3 lb Kumquats
      2 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Apple cider or apple juice
      4 tb Fresh orange juice
      4 tb Fresh lime juice
           Grated zest of 2 limes
        pn Salt
      6 tb Grand Marnier
 
  This is a variation on the traditional cooked cranberry-orange relish
  — with a Va-Va-Va-Vroom difference. Sweet-tart kumquats take the
  place of oranges, tangy lime zest and juice add intrigue to the
  citrus flavor, and Grand Marnier liqueur, splashed in at the last
  moment, gives a rich complexity to the finished product. From
  chef/restaurateur Gary Danko.
  
  Pick over the cranberries, discarding any stems, or rotten, shriveled
  or "petrified" berries. Cut the kumquats in half and discard seeds.
  Place the kumquats in a food processor and grind to a medium-fine
  texture.
  
  Combine the cranberries, ground kumquats, the sugar, juices, lime zest
  and salt in a large, heavy saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil. When the
  cranberries pop, remove from heat and add the Grand Marnier.
  
  Note: May be made 1 week ahead. Store in a tightly covered container
  in the refrigerator.
  
  Yields approximately 5 1/2 cups
