He does but he's overall harmless and can be quite amusing outside political 
echos.

We are at a break in the fixings of our stuff, so got a few hours.  We trotted
a few things back and forth.  One of the cornish hens seemed a bit 'off' so 
we tossed that one and will do just the brined one and the 'traditional turkey'
sortof one.  She couldnt decide between the pies so we have 3 and plenty of
food to go around.

Dinner is at 6 or there-abouts.

Menu shifted a little so here's the final one.

2 cornish hens (one brined with a bit of dashi added, one stuffed and 
traditional looking) (them)

1 7 lb smoked ham with bone in (us)

Brussell sprouts simmered in chicken stock (us)

Smashed grapes and yam with a little sake (us, also used to baste ham)

Jiffy cornbread muffins (us)

Yeast rolls (them)

3 pies (sweet potato, cheesecake, and apple) (them)

Olive salad with madera (them) (a Rota Spain thing they liked, served warm)

Wine (us, same ones i leaned to and they agreed a good mix for the group)

Tofu-dashi-spinach soup (guess who <g>)

4 jars gravey (2 ham, 2 chicken) (us but they will heat in our microwave we 
loaned them)

Mashed potatoes (us, lumpy type with sour cream and butter).

Cranberry relish (them)

Hot cabbage slaw (them)

___ slight delay--
pitter patter, pitter patter.  Her wine was corked so she's grabbed some sake 
and the white zinfandel.  She only needs about 1 ts of the sake and about 1/2
cup of the white zinfandel.  She says she's made it with white Zin before and
the only problem was it needed a little 'kick' which she did with 1 ts vodka
but neither of us have any.  She sniffed the sake and said she thinks it will
do in place nicely enough.

Grin, she laughed at my 'outa stuff cooking' line as she does the same.

I put the Chenin Blanc in to chill with the Riesling incase we run a little 
short.  She's not sure when she reduces the wine, if she will need to use a bit
more as the brand isnt the same.
