   It is not the height that causes me the problem.  I can easily point
   my head to focus on just about anything with the progressive lens.
   What causes the problem is that the field of vision from side to side
   is smaller than the screen I want to read -- and so with those lens I
   am constantly having to move my head side to side and up and down to
   get clear focus at various parts of the screen.  The bifocals do away
   with that problem since the field of vision is the entire lens.  The
   clear focus area on the varilux has a keyhole effect for the
   intermediate ranges.

  When I was using my R2D2 with charcoal, I would soak pieces of apple
  wood trimmed from the tree in my front yard and lay them on top of the
  charcoal.   That provided the smoke, and a lot cheaper than wood chips
  bought from a store.   I once got some peach wood trimmings from a
  local orchard.   That came out so bitter, we threw the lot away.
  Never was sure if I just over smoked, or if it was the nature of
  peach wood, or if the wood might have had pesticide residue on it.  In
  any case, I'm not keen on trying that again.

  The R2D2 has a water bath that does help regulate the temperature.
  Similar with the propane versions.   My electric also has a water
  bath, but not as big.  The thermostat regulates the temperature.

  Sounds like a plan:-}}   In fact, I would not be surprised if you
  might not even be able to get a cheap used one from someone who is
  shipping out.   It might be messy to ship.

  I switched my posting category -- and although it was not intentional,
  it seems to have caught a fair number of recipes you once posted.
  They don't have your xxcarol brand on them though.   Are you
  interested in getting the entire lot back as an email file?   What I
  sent you before were ones with xxcarol in the category.

      Title: Crockpot Meatloaf
 Categories: Meats, Misc
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      1 lb Lean ground beef
      1    Egg
    1/3 c  Oatmeal
      3 tb Onion soup mix
    1/4 c  Ketchup
 
  Combine beef,egg, 3 tb ketchup, soup mix and shape into meatloaf.
  Place in crockpot and top with remaining ketchup.  Cover and cook
  8-10 hours. To freeze shape and put in freezer bag for up to 2
  months. Refrigerate the night before cooking. Source: Frozen Assets
