That they are!  So Amanda has a Cultech too?  Cool!  For the rest of you, it is
*the bike* for long term use transportation.  Even their lighter 'racing bike
line' is a good one.  The heavy duty model I have, retails for 3,999$ per my 
'bike guy'.  He's got a sign out now detailing the history of the bike, its
USA cost when new, and how it's been used for almost 7 years.  He said the 
average USA bike wont last more than 5 years and not under that level of 6miles
a day usage.  When I got it in Japan, it was 1,500$ roughly.  In the USA, it's
almost impossible to find that model.  My bike guy said if my back doesnt allow

me to use it again, he will happily pay me 2,200$ for it.  He can resell it
easy
for 2,500$ once a few minor cosmetic things are done.

My second bike I got for about 500$ and he says is worth 500$ used <g>.  Might 
sell him that one as I no longer need a relief bike for when the Cultech is in
the shop.

Same setup we are doing to my cultech.  The kid-carts you pull behind make 
turning awkward and it's easy to tip over when turning and going over a curb, 
especially if it hasnt got the cut down (wheelchair and bike access slopes).

 -> Mostly the cultech needs a tuneup (stop laughing, it's the chains) and
 ->  new break pads plus one break cable was degrading and has no more left
 -> to shorten so has
 -> to be replaced.  One of the tires (front) is also showing too much wear 

Don just found the snow tires for the bike.  They are a bit worn, but still 
good for longer.  The bike guy was enthralled that we have those too so he's
picking them up on his way home tonight.  Possibly be here before I finish 
this message.

Yup.  My cultech is rated to last 20 years.
