It's against the rules, although I am guessing that maybe
some of the older concerns had their product grandfathered
in. And mostly the more reputable California wineries are
tending to let their wines stand on their own these days.

If given my druthers I'd have chopped a serrano or two
into the mix (hotter and less green-tasting than jalapenos).

I wouldn't say I detest the stuff, but enough is too much.
Apparently Jackie got it specially for me, as I like strong,
dark beers, and was not happy when I told her I didn't care
for it. "Why didn't you tell me," she asked. After all, I'd
got her the detested Heineken Light because she claims to be
on a diet.

It varies by local ordinance of course, so one can get the
most peculiar juxtapositions of wet and dry. It comes across
strongly in my neck of the Arkansas woods, where Rogers, which
is in Benton County, is semi-dry (with restaurants having to
subscribe to the private club fiction), whereas the next town
to the south, Springdale, in another county, has liquor stores
and bars and what have you nestled right up to the Rogers city
limits. And Fayetteville, the town directly south of that, has
drive-thru liquor stores.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Broccoli Bites
 Categories: Appetizer, Vegetable, Cheese
      Yield: 60 Snacks

      4    Or 5 heads broccoli
      3 c  Shredded cheddar cheese
      1 c  Shredded mozzarella cheese
      4 oz Cream cheese
      4    Eggs, beaten
      1 c  Bacon bits
      1 c  Chopped onion
      3 T  Garlic powder
      1 T  Black pepper
      2 c  Breadcrumbs

    Chop broccoli fine, boil in water one hour, strain, mix with above
  ingredients. Form into balls (one heaping tablespoon per ball). Dip
  in egg and roll in extra breadcrumbs. Deep fry 4 minutes or until
  golden brown.
