      Title: Mushroom Noodles Soup
 Categories: Russian, Soups, Mushrooms, Pasta
      Yield: 4 servings
 
    400 g  Flour
      6    Dry mushrooms
     10 lg Potatoes
      1 lg Carrot
      1 lg Onion
      2 tb Oil
           Salt
 
  How are you doing there? Did you get a chance to get acquainted with
  Maslenitsa traditions in your block? We had a wonderful family meal of
  pancakes with caviar, salmon and sour cream. I love pancakes more and
  more since we don't have time to cook them often.
  
  Now we are at Great Lent time that means no meat nor holidays for
  those who keep it... As to me, I'll try to offer authentic recipes on
  this occasion if you only want.
  
  Soak mushrooms in cold water for 3-4 hours. In a pot, add 2 l water
  and cook mushrooms on low heat for 2 hours. Strain through the sieve
  with 4 layers of gauze. Set mushroom stock aside. Wash mushrooms under
  running water. Make noodles dough from water and flour. cover with
  towel for 15 to 20 minutes. Roll out the dough thinly and dry a
  little. After that cut into strips for noodles.
  
  Chop carrot into thin strips, cube potatoes and boil in a lightly
  water. Pour in mushroom water. Boil noodles separately and put in
  mushroom soup. Chop onion and mushrooms into strips. Fry separately
  in oil. Put in soup, bring to boil and salt to taste.
