Not real well. I'm pretty worried. Not fretting exactly - but, very 
concerned. Georgia is almost like a force of nature most times. It pains 
me to see her deteriorating like this - it also concerns me that I might 
be next. The sleep problem is the most worrying since they can't figure 
out (yet) what the cause might be. And until they get to the root it's 
nearly impossible to treat - which means that the wild cycles of sleep 
and wake for extended periods debilitates her even more.

I've already buried one sibling. As you know, that pretty much sucks.

      Title: Orange & Apple Compote
 Categories: Russian, Fruits, Preserves
      Yield: 10 servings
 
    500 g  Oranges
    500 g  Apples
    300 g  Sugar
    100 g  Wine
      1 g  Citric acid
  1 1/2 l  Water
 
  A very interesting day, the 13th December, the Day of Prayer
  for True Suitors :-) according to Russian folk calendar.
  
  The night before this day is called Andrew's Night and young women
  and girls are supposed to see an image of their promised husband at
  this night. To make a dream come true, it is necessary to bake a
  bread and put a piece of it under a pillow with the words: "My
  promised husband, please, come to taste my bread."
  
  (which has bugger all to do with this recipe - UDD)

  Peel oranges and slice them. Peel apples and cut out the core. Add
  citric acid to water, put apples and cook until half done. Take
  apples out and slice.
  
  Add sugar and wine to the apple water, bring to a boil and cool down.
  Place apples and oranges into glass bowls (makes 10 servings) and
  pour over the syrup.
